Trains to South Woodham Ferrers - Station Details and further Information on Woodham Ferrers Train Services

South Woodham Ferrers train station serves the town of South Woodham Ferrers in Essex, England. The station, and all trains serving it, are operated by National Express East Anglia. It is part of the Crouch Valley Line. The station was also once a junction for a now dismantled line leading to Maldon, which closed on 7 September 1964.

The trains run once hourly each way during the day, although at peak hours the frequency is increased to once every 40-45 minutes each way. During rush hour, trains run directly to and from London Liverpool Street but otherwise trains terminate or start at Wickford or Shenfield. The station's name was changed from Woodham Ferrers to South Woodham Ferrers on 20 May 2007 and new signs have been installed along the platform, as well as on top of the National Rail signpost.
