Trains to Patchway - Station Details and further Information on Patchway Train Services
Patchway train station is a minor train station on the outskirts of the village of Little Stoke near the town of Patchway, South Gloucestershire, England. The station is located at street level at Station Road in Little Stoke. It is a stop on the South Wales Main Line branch of the Great Western Main Line, served by local trains operated by First Great Western. First Great Western high speed services use this station to stop when the line to Bristol Parkway is closed for engineering work.
The station is currently served hourly in each direction on weekdays. Westbound trains run to Newport & Cardiff Central and eastbound to Bristol Temple Meads, Weston-super-Mare and Taunton. A few peak hour services between Cardiff and Portsmouth Harbour also call. CrossCountry Trains also operate one service per day in each direction to/from Cardiff, then onwards to Temple Meads, Birmingham New Street and Manchester Piccadilly. There is a limited Sunday service (approximately every three hours each way) provided by the Cardiff to Portsmouth trains. |
