Trains to Minster - Station Details and further Information on Minster Train Services

Minster train station serves Minster in Kent and surrounding villages. The station, and all trains serving it, are operated by Southeastern. The typical off-peak service from the station is 1 train per hour to Ramsgate or Margate 1tph to London Charing Cross via Canterbury West.

There are a small number of services running direct to London Charing Cross via Sandwich, Deal and Walmer on the Kent Coast Line, providing early morning and afternoon services for pupils and students at schools in that area. These run through the use of a single track spur line. There are also a certain number of Charter services throughout the year as well.

Peak services are generally busier, with five services to London Charing Cross before 9.00 AM, and one additional service to London Victoria via Maidstone East and Bromley South and another to London Cannon Street.

On days where engineering works are taking place (typically weekends), Minster may be used as the terminus for trains from Canterbury West or the Kent Coast Line. In this case, trains may reverse using several of the points that are available at the site so they may swap over to the other line. It also is sometimes served by Rail Replacement Buses' on days where no services are operating.
