Trains to London Road (Brighton) - Station Details and further Information on London Road (Brighton) Train Services

London Road (Brighton) Railway Station is in Brighton, East Sussex, England. Train services from the station are provided by Southern, and the station is on the East Coastway Line.

London Road station was opened in 1877, following housing development in the surrounding area. It was originally to be called Ditchling Rise, a more accurate name as London Road is a little way away. Until the branch closed in the 1960s, trains to Kemptown diverged from the Brighton – Lewes line here.

The Lewes-side platform building was demolished in the early 1980s. The station had a substantial refurbishment at the end of 2004 with some add on parts to the original building demolished. The station has also been home to the Brighton Model Railway Club since 1971.
