Great Bentley train station serves the award winning village of Great Bentley in Essex, England. It is located on the Colchester to Clacton Line (also known as Sunshine Coast Line), a branch of the Great Eastern Main Line. National Express East Anglia operate services to London Liverpool Street, Clacton-on-Sea, Colchester and Walton-on-the-Naze.

There are two platforms. Platform 1 is for services towards Colchester and London Liverpool Street. Platform 2 is for services towards Clacton-on-Sea and Walton-on-the-Naze. The station has a fully staffed ticket office and a self-service ticket machine. The station house at Great Bentley is unique, being the only one on the Clacton line that is still in use.

Great Bentley is the largest village served on the Sunshine Coast Line. It is also the busiest rural station on the line. Network Rail replaced the manually controlled gates at Great Bentley with barriers in December 2008 as part of the £104m Colchester to Clacton Resignalling Project.
