Gorton train station serves Gorton district of the city of Manchester, England. The station is on the Manchester-Glossop Line and the 2½ miles east of Manchester Piccadilly.

The station was opened in 1842 by the Sheffield, Ashton-under-Lyne and Manchester Railway, which later became part of the Great Central Railway. During the early part of the 20th century it was renamed Gorton and Openshaw, but it had reverted back to its original name by 1977. It was referred to as Openshaw in the 1964 song Slow Train by Flanders and Swann.

Monday to Sunday daytimes there is, at minimum, a half-hourly service westbound to Manchester Piccadilly and eastbound to Glossop and Hadfield. Evening services generally run hourly. Manchester-Rose Hill Marple Lines services pass Gorton by and stop instead at Fairfield.
