Trains to Foxton - Station Details and further Information on Foxton Train Services
Foxton train station serves the village of Foxton in Cambridgeshire, England. The station (as well as the trains serving it) is operated by First Capital Connect. Departure boards at London King's Cross often give Foxton as the destination of trains which actually continue to Cambridge. This is to encourage passengers travelling to Cambridge to use the faster 'Cambridge Cruiser' services instead.
Foxton train station is just outside the village of Foxton, and is on the Hitchin-Cambridge Line. There is one train an hour each way that goes to either London King's Cross or Cambridge/King's Lynn. For passengers travelling to London, Foxton is often not the ideal station to travel from, as the train stops everywhere, so usually you would have to change at Royston to get a faster train into the capital. It is never hard to tell when a train is about to pass Foxton station as the Level Crossing which connects the railway line and the A10 will always warn you by sounding a bell and lowering the gates.

Up (London-bound) trains call at Shepreth, Meldreth, Royston, Ashwell and Morden, Baldock, Letchworth Garden City, Hitchin, Stevenage, Knebworth, Welwyn North, Welwyn Garden City, Hatfield, Potters Bar, Finsbury Park and London King's Cross.
