Trains to Brockley - Station Details and further Information on Brockley Train Services

Brockley train station is on the main railway line between London Bridge and Brighton: The station is operated by Southern, which is the only train company to serve the station, although First Capital Connect pass through the station. It is very close to the former Brockley Lane train station which closed in 1917.

At the London end the line is crossed by the Nunhead to Lewisham line. This was originally a London, Chatham and Dover Railway branch to Greenwich, which had been closed in 1917. The connection of that line to Lewisham is a later development. The possibility on opening platforms on this line with direct access to Victoria Station and the Bexleyheath Line to Dartford has often been suggested but is currently low on TfL's priorities

Crofton Park, on the London Blackfriars to Sevenoaks line, and which also runs from Nunhead, is a mile to the south. Neither of these other lines has a physical connection with Brockley station. The next station to the north is New Cross Gate, and the next station to the south is Honor Oak Park. Brockley will form part of the new southbound route of the East London Line that is due to open in 2010 and form part of the London Overground.
