Basildon is train station located in Basildon, Essex, England. The station was opened in 1974. The Station is managed by and all train services are operated by c2c. It is situated between Laindon train station and Pitsea train station and located 24.17 miles by rail from Fenchurch Street.

Basildon station is served solely by London, Tilbury and Southend Line trains heading inbound to Fenchurch Street train station in central London and outbound to Shoeburyness in eastern Essex. Inbound trains operate about every 15 minutes during off-peak hours and supplemented with trains running up to five minutes apart during peak hours. Of these, half call at all stations, taking 39 minutes to reach London at an average of 37.2 mph. The other half are fast trains at skip either West Hordon or Limehouse station, arriving in London 36 minutes later travelling at approximately 40.3 mph.

Outbound trains operate at 15-minute intervals during off-peak hours with supplementary service during peak hours. Half of these trains call at all stations, arriving at Shoeburyness 33 minutes later at an average of 27.9 mph. The other half skip Pitsea, taking 31 minutes to reach Shoeburyness at an average of 29.7 mph.
