Southern Train Services
Southern is a train operating company in England. It operates to south London, Surrey, and Sussex from London's Victoria and London Bridge stations. Southern also offer regional services on the East and West Coastway lines.
In 2008 Southern assumed responsibility for the non-stop Gatwick Express service between Victoria and Gatwick Airport. This service is also extended to Brighton during peak times.
Southern manage over 150 stations and operate and maintain a fleet of around 300 new and refurbished trains, seven days a week with many of them running around the clock 24 hours a day.
Southern is operated by Govia, who also operates the neighbouring Southeastern franchise and London Midland services in the West Midlands.
