Stena Lynx III is still the official name of the vessel although is is usually referred to as Stena Express. Stena Line purchased the vessel in 2004. She operates on her seasonal role in the Southern Irish Sea for the summer operating alongside the MS Stena Europe conventional ferry that serves the route all year round.
