MS Baltic Princess is a cruiseferry owned by the Estonia based ferry operator Tallink. She was built by Aker Finnyards New Shipyard in Helsinki, Finland in 2008. Baltic Princess was delivered to Tallink on July 10, 2008. The Baltic Princess was ordered as Tallink's fourth new cruiseferry in December 2005. After Tallink's purchase of Silja Line in 2006 it was revealed that the ship would replace MS Galaxy on the Tallinn - Helsinki ferry route.

Tallink MS Baltic Princess - Further Ferry Information and Vessel Description

Baltic Princess is a new cruiseferry offering brand new, modern facilities, a wide range of services and a great selection of fantastic onboard entertainment. The forward sections of the MS Baltic Princess ware constructed at Aker Yards' Chantiers de l'Atlantique shipyard in France and was towed to Helsinki in April 2007. In September the section was towed into the drydock where the hull was completed. The ship was floated out of drydock in Helsinki on 9 March 2008 after being officially christened. MS Baltic Princess is the sister ship of Baltic Queen and Silja Lines MS Galaxy. Following the Baltic Princess replacing Galaxy on the Tallinn - Helsinki route, Galaxy replaced MS Silja Festival on the Stockholm - Turku route on 23 July 2008.
