Rosslare Europort is a modern seaport located at Rosslare Harbour in County Wexford, Ireland, at the southeastern-most point of Ireland's coastline, handling passenger and freight ferries to and from Wales and France. Facilities in the terminal building include a bar and restaurant, car hire, a shop, and the ferry company desks. A railway platform occupies part of the building and bus services to Wexford, Dublin, Cork and Limerick leave from just outside. Rosslare has been a tourist resort for at least 100 years. It prides itself on being the sunniest spot in Ireland, and records bear this out: Rosslare receives 300 hours more sunshine each year than the average place in Ireland.

Roscoff is a commune in the Finistère department in Bretagne in northwestern France. Since the early 1970s, Roscoff has been developed as a ferry port for the transport of Breton agricultural produce, and for car-based tourism. Brittany Ferries' links with the United Kingdom and Ireland provide a boost to the local economy. In the late 1990s people from the South West of England began to travel to Roscoff from Plymouth in order to stay for one or two days and import French wines at much cheaper prices than in England.
