LD Lines' Norman Voyager has a freight capacity of 2250 lane metres, which allows the transportation of up to 120 trucks/trailers. The Norman Voyager was built by C.N. Visentini di Visentini Francesco & C. at their Porto Viro Yard in Italy. The Norman Voyager is one of 22 sister ships built and operating for various ferry companies around the world. She arrived at Portsmouth for berthing trials on 4th November 2008, entering service two days later.
The ship is primarily used on the daytime crossing from Portsmouth to Le Havre and the overnight crossing from Le Havre to Portsmouth as well as the weekly service from Rosslare to Le Havre and Le Havre to Rosslare. This new vessel offers passengers a fantastic Channel crossing and a great alternative to many of the other crossings available.
