Fastnet Line's MV Julia

The new ship, the MS Julia was purchased for the current operating company, Fastnet Line, in 2009. It was built in 1982 and had previously been used to serve routes in the Scandanavian peninsula. The new ship was made ready for use following some modifications that needed to be made to make the ship compliant with Irish regulations. The Julia has 10 decks with a capacity of approximately 440 cars and 30 freight vehicles and a passenger carrying capacity of 1,860.
